Mini has revealed the new Mini Countryman John Cooper Works edition, which comes with all-wheel drive and an improved engine making 211 hp. It debuted on Tuesday ahead of its live reveal next week at the Geneva motor show. The Countryman JCW edition will be the first of the performance Minis to offer an automatic transmission in place of the standard six-speed.
The Chrysler Group is offering consumers $4,500 on most of its 2009 models, doubling the cash-for-guzzlers incentive offered by the federal government. "Double Ca$h for Your Old Car," offers up to $4,500 cash or 0 percent financing for 72 months on qualifying new vehicles, even if the consumer's trade-in doesn't qualify for the federal incentive. The program starts Thursday, July 23, and runs through August, Chrysler announced Wednesday.
Maserati will show an SUV concept car like this at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It's the long-awaited Maserati 4x4 shown in thinly veiled show car guise; you can expect something very similar on London and Cheshire driveways from 2013.
